아시아 대륙의 동쪽에 있는 나라. 한반도와 그 부속 섬들로 이루어져 있으며, 한국이라고도 부른다. 1950년에 일어난 육이오 전쟁 이후 휴전선을 사이에 두고 국토가 둘로 나뉘었다. 언어는 한국어이고, 수도는 서울이다.
A country located in southern East Asia; it consists of the Korean Peninsula and affiliated islands; divided into South Korea and North Korea since the 1953 ceasefire agreement, it is called either Korea or South Korea; the official language is Korean and the capital is Seoul.
