러시아의 남동쪽 끝에 있는 지방. 두만강을 사이로 북한과 국경을 이루고 있으며 대한 제국기에 조선인들이 많이 망명하여 현재도 우리 동포가 많이 살고 있다.
The region at the southeastern end of Russia; the Dumangang River forms the border between the Maritime Province and North Korea, and currently a lot of Koreans are living there as many Koreans defected to the region during the period of the Korean Empire, the new name of Joseon.
